Police treating death suspicious in Edwardstown

Police are investigating a suspicious death at Edwardstown overnight.

Police and paramedics were called to Dunorlan Street, Edwardstown just before 9.30pm on Sunday 11 December after a man was found lying on the roadway.

The 41-year-old man was rushed to the Flinders Medical Centre in a critical condition but was pronounced deceased a short time later.

The circumstances of his death are being treated as a suspicious.

Detectives from Major Crime Investigation Branch and Southern District CIB and Forensic Response officers attended and examined the scene.

Investigators are currently doorknocking and conducting inquiries in the area.
