Police update 1: Attempted armed robbery, Park Avenue

Rockhampton detectives have charged two people following investigations into a 73-year-old woman allegedly being assaulted during an attempted robbery at an address in Park Avenue in January.

A 16-year-old Keperra boy has been charged with three counts of trespass, and one count each of enter dwelling with intent at night, attempted armed robbery, enter premises and commit, attempt unlawful use of a motor vehicle.

He is due to face Brisbane Childrens Court at a later date.

A 16-year-old Bray Park boy has been charged with one count each of robbery in custody, enter dwelling with intent, common assault.

He has been dealt with under provisions of the Youth Justice Act.

Police continue to appeal for anyone who may have seen anything in the area on the evening of January 25, or may have CCTV or dashcam vision to come forward.
