Police have charged a 23-year-old male prisoner who allegedly absconded from Rockhampton Hospital on Saturday June 3.
He was arrested at a unit in Berserker today and taken into custody without incident.
The 23-year-old man has been charged with two counts of serious assault corrective services officer and one count each of escape lawful custody and serious assault of public officer performing function.
He is due to appear before Rockhampton Magistrates Court tomorrow, June 6.
