Police update 2: Fatal shed fire, Pacific Haven

Police continue to appeal for public assistance in relation to ongoing investigations into a fatal shed fire in Pacific Haven early last year.

At around 1.35am on February 18, emergency services attended a fire in a small 'donga' style structure located on Pacific Haven Drive.

The residence was completed destroyed. A subsequent search located the body of a 50-year-old man who lived there, Damian Ramsay.

Investigations into the circumstances surrounding Mr Ramsay's death have revealed that a quantity of power tools were stolen from a shed situated around 60 metres from the residence between 2pm on February 17 and 1.35am on February 18.

Police now believe these tools have been sold to unsuspecting persons in the Wide Bay area around that time.
