Human remains have been located during investigations into a house fire at Good Night, near Bundaberg, on Saturday April 11.
A Booyal Crossing Road property was fully engulfed around 9.15pm and a crime scene was subsequently declared.
A 75-year-old man and a 79-year-old woman who reside at the property remain unaccounted for.
Forensic examinations are underway to identify the human remains.
Investigations into the cause of the blaze are ongoing, and police are continuing to remove areas of the house to be able to access the scene safely.
