Police Update 2: Murder Charge At Hampton

Police have located what is believed to be human remains as part of an ongoing investigation into the disappearance of a 48-year-old Hampton man, Paul Woods on October 14.

The remains were located during a search of a Cressbrook Creek property.

The remains are yet to be formally identified.

A 45-year-old Cressbrook Creek man has been charged with one count each of murder and misconduct with a corpse by interfering.

Police continue to appeal for any information in relation to Paul or the movement of an unregistered blue and white Yamaha motorbike between October 5 to 6 in the Hampton, Crows Nest and Cressbrook Creek area.

Investigations continue.
