Police update: Charges - Aggravated robbery - Palmerston

Northern Territory Police have charged another male in relation to an aggravated robbery in Palmerston last month.

Extensive investigations from Serious Crime detectives identified and located the 25-year-old yesterday, who handed himself in without incident.

He has been charged with:

  • Acts intended to cause serious harm
  • Aggravated robbery

He was remanded to appear in Darwin Local Court on 28 February 2022.

Detective Senior Sergeant Brett Cottier said, "This incident was a particularly violent assault and investigations are ongoing to identify the three other co-offenders.

"Two individuals have now been charged in relation to this incident and the Serious Crime Squad will continue to work to ensure everyone involved faces court."
