Northern Territory Police have charged two men in relation to a police operation in Coolalinga last week.
A 30-year old man was charged with:
- 7 x Aggravated assault
- Unlawful use of motor vehicle
- Go armed in public
- Exceed speed limit (16-30km over)
- Fail to obey direction of police officer
- 2 x Drive vehicle manner dangerous
- 2 x Criminal damage
- Stealing
- Assault police
- Possess firearm unlicensed
- Possess ammunition without licence
- Possess thing to administer dangerous drug
A 31-year-old man was charged with:
- Unlawful use of motor vehicle
- Drive unlicensed
- Stealing
- Drive vehicle manner dangerous
- 2 x Criminal damage
- Possess firearm unlicensed
- Possess ammunition unlicensed
- Possess thing to administer dangerous drug
- Drive with prohibited drug in body
- Unlawfully cause serious harm
- Aggravated assault
- Breach of bail
Both are expected to appear in Darwin Local Court today.
