Police update: Charges - Police operation - Coolalinga

Northern Territory Police have charged two men in relation to a police operation in Coolalinga last week.

A 30-year old man was charged with:

  • 7 x Aggravated assault
  • Unlawful use of motor vehicle
  • Go armed in public
  • Exceed speed limit (16-30km over)
  • Fail to obey direction of police officer
  • 2 x Drive vehicle manner dangerous
  • 2 x Criminal damage
  • Stealing
  • Assault police
  • Possess firearm unlicensed
  • Possess ammunition without licence
  • Possess thing to administer dangerous drug

A 31-year-old man was charged with:

  • Unlawful use of motor vehicle
  • Drive unlicensed
  • Stealing
  • Drive vehicle manner dangerous
  • 2 x Criminal damage
  • Possess firearm unlicensed
  • Possess ammunition unlicensed
  • Possess thing to administer dangerous drug
  • Drive with prohibited drug in body
  • Unlawfully cause serious harm
  • Aggravated assault
  • Breach of bail

Both are expected to appear in Darwin Local Court today.
