Police update: Charges - Violence offences at Humpty Doo

Northern Territory Police have now charged both men who were arrested after a cordon in Humpty Doo earlier this week.

The 24-year-old has since been charged with:

  • Recklessly endangering serious harm - aggravated
  • Aggravated burglary - dwelling
  • Damage to property

The 34-year-old has been charged with:

  • Driving, riding, using motor vehicle without consent x 3
  • Drive vehicle dangerous manner during pursuit x 1
  • Drive a motor vehicle while unlicensed x 3
  • Fail to obey direction of police officer x 1
  • Number plates not attached x 2
  • Possess / use firearm whilst unlicensed x 2
  • Recklessly endangering serious harm x 1
  • Possess plates calculated to deceive x 1
  • Unlawfully possess property x 3
  • Possess ammunition without a license x 1
  • Fail to comply with storage requirements x 1
  • Aggravated assault x 2
  • Damage to property x 1

He was remanded to appear in Darwin Local Court today.
