A 51-year-old woman has died following a hit and run incident in Darwin City last month.
The woman was struck by a vehicle before being taken to Royal Darwin Hospital with life-threatening injuries. She was later transported to South Australia for further medical treatment however, sadly died as a result of her injuries.
A 52-year-old man was arrested in relation to the incident. He has been charged with hit and run causing serious harm and appeared before court last month.
Detectives from Major Crash Investigation Unit will prepare a report for the Coroner.
