Northern Territory Police are continuing to investigate the disappearance of Seth Puckridge from his home in Darwin's rural area last week, however the search and rescue operation has been suspended.
Detective Senior Sergeant Paul Morrissey said that after a week of intense searches in the area, there was no sign of Mr Puckridge.
"Police and community members have been actively searching by land and air. We made the decision to call off the search, however the community can be reassured that investigations are ongoing and we are determined to locate Mr Puckridge.
"We thank the community for their support and cooperation in the search."
Anyone with information on Mr Puckridge's whereabouts is asked to contact police on 131 444.
