Horsham Rural City has been in the spotlight this week, with the popular travel show Postcards TV filming some of our region's best experiences. Crews spent several days across the Grampians Wimmera Mallee, with Horsham featured as part of a vibrant visitor offering. The segment is expected to air on 28 June, sharing our region with viewers right across Victoria.
The story highlights what makes Horsham special, from relaxed camping and caravanning to golf, quality places to stay, agritourism and delicious local food. It's a great snapshot of the many ways people can enjoy the region.
A number of local businesses took part in filming, including Horsham Holiday Park, Horsham Golf Club, Rosehaven Farms and Norton Estate. Each offers something unique and together they showcase the variety and quality of experiences available here.
There's been a great buzz across the region during filming, with Grampians Wimmera Mallee Tourism sharing behind-the-scenes moments on social media. With filming now complete, we're looking forward to seeing the finished segment, and the boost it will bring in putting Horsham on the map as a must-visit destination.
