Justice Hatcher, President has issued a statement today about the constitution of Expert Panels.
Amendments to the Fair Work Act 2009 establish new Expert Panels. The panels relate to the Care and Community Sector and gender pay equity.
The statement confirms provisional views about which current cases at the Commission require an Expert Panel to be constituted, and provides details about a current application by APESMA to vary the Pharmacy Industry Award 2020.
The statement also provides an update on how we will deal with future matters that may require an Expert Panel.
