The Public Service Association has welcomed the decision by the New South Wales Government to extend its $3000 "appreciation payment" to Ministry of Health staff, but has noted there is further to go.
"We welcome the belated announcement that Ministry of Health staff will be included in the 'appreciation payment,' but the job is half done," said PSA General Secretary Stewart Little.
"Premier Perrottet should acknowledge the hard work of all public sector workers who deserve a pay rise to match inflation."
