We have launched public consultation for Stage 1 of the review of the State Environmental (Cockburn Sound) Policy 2015.
The policy has played a vital role in protecting the environmental, cultural, and recreational values of Cockburn Sound since its inception. With increasing pressures from development, climate change, and population growth, the review will ensure the policy remains fit for purpose into the future.
The consultation is open from 6 to 31 October 2025 and invites community members, stakeholders, and organisations to share their views via a short online survey. This is the first of three planned stages of public consultation, with further opportunities for in-depth engagement to follow in 2026.
