Public health restrictions eased from Friday 11 June

Following the Deputy Premier's announcement on Wednesday 9 June that several public health restrictions will be eased, some of Council's facilities will reopen from 11.59 pm on Thursday 10 June.

Residents will be able to leave their homes for any reason provided they remain within a 25km radius of their primary place of residence. Travelling further than 25km from home is only permitted when: shopping for necessary goods; caregiving or compassionate reasons; to visit an intimate partner or person in your bubble; for work or education, to get a vaccine, or if there is an emergency.

Face masks still need to be worn indoors and outdoors, except at home.

With the return of students to schools, school crossings will be fully staffed from Friday 11 June.

Following the easing of restrictions, the City of Casey Customer Service counters at Bunjil Place and Cranbourne will reopen from Tuesday 15 June. The counters will be open from 10.00 am until 2.00 pm, Monday - Friday.

During the height of the pandemic, Council reduced its customer service counter hours, however, we are pleased to advise that these hours will be extended at Bunjil Place from Monday 28 June, to 9.00 am until 4.00 pm, Monday - Friday.
