Public Help Sought: Motorcycle Crash at Kurwongbah

The Forensic Crash Unit is appealing for a motorcyclist who witnessed the serious crash of another rider in Kurwongbah this morning to come forward.

Initial investigations indicate around 3.10am the injured rider came off a red MV Augusta F3800 motorbike bearing Queensland registration 358ZC after he struck an embankment while travelling north-west along Narangbah Road, toward the Dakabin Railway station.

The 33-year-old Windsor man was transported to hospital with serious injuries.

Another male motorcyclist stopped to assist and flagged down a passing motorist who raised the alarm.

Investigators would like to speak to the witness motorcyclist and ask him to make contact, along with anyone else who may have relevant dashcam or CCTV.

Investigations continue.
