UOW community pays tribute to Queen Elizabeth II
The University of Wollongong is deeply saddened to learn of the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
We join with our communities across Australia and internationally in mourning the passing of Her Majesty and in paying tribute to her many years of service.
"Today is the end of the era of the reign of Queen Elizabeth II, a woman who devoted her life to duty and service," UOW Vice-Chancellor and President Professor Patricia M. Davidson said.
"It's a day of sadness for the people of Great Britain and the Royal Family, who have lost a much-loved family member and monarch.
"Our thoughts are with those who mourn her, and may she rest in peace."
