Queensland has one new case of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) to report today, bringing total cases to 1,073.
This case is overseas acquired and was transported directly to hotel quarantine. They are therefore not currently considered to be a risk to the public.
Queensland currently has three active COVID-19 cases. Two of these cases are in hospital.

It is vital that anyone in Queensland, especially if you've been interstate in the last 14 days, gets a COVID-19 test if you develop symptoms, even if mild. Symptoms may include fever, cough, sore throat, runny nose, shortness of breath, loss of smell or taste, and fatigue.
