Raptor Squad has targeted 90 Bandidos OMCG members and associates during a high-visibility operation in Port Stephens and the Hunter Valley.
On Saturday 25 April 2026, Raptor Squad – with assistance of Port Stephens-Hunter Police District, Traffic and Highway Patrol and Dog Unit – conducted an operation targeting anti-social behaviour, traffic offences and organised crime.
During the operation, police established a traffic stop in Beresfield and Salt Ash, where 90 Bandidos OMCG members and associates were stopped for road compliance inspections and roadside breath and drug testing.
In total, 86 traffic infringements were handed out, 32 major defects detected, 57 people searched, 19 vehicles searched, and six positive drug tests recorded.
Commander of Raptor Squad, Detective Acting Superintendent Brad Abdy said it's part of an ongoing strategy to disrupt and dismantle OMCG's across the state.
"Operations like this don't happen overnight. They require meticulous planning, strong intelligence, and seamless coordination across multiple units," Det Act Supt Abdy said.
"We want the community to know that we are actively targeting those who think they can intimidate or operate outside the law."
"NSW Police will keep applying pressure until these groups understand that there is no safe haven for their activities."
