Re-appeal for information into ram raid - Murray River

Police are appealing for information following a ram raid in the state's Murray River region earlier this year.

About 2.40am on Wednesday 26 January 2022, two people forced entry to a licensed club on Moulamein Road, Barham, before allegedly using a utility to steal a cash machine.

The club sustained minor damage to internal walls and a door when the cash machine was removed by force.

Officers attached to Murray River Police District were notified and commenced an investigation.

A crime scene was established which was examined by specialist forensic officers. Various items were seized for further forensic analysis.

Police have since released CCTV of the incident, as well as an image of the vehicle believed to be involved.

The vision depicts the cash machine being ripped from its mount.

Anyone with information – or who recognises the man or vehicle in the CCTV – is urged to contact Deniliquin Police Station on (03) 5881 9299 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
