This job puts you at heart of authorising veterinary medicines for the UK market and plays a major role in assuring the quality and hence the safety and efficacy of these medicines.
You will lead the Quality team, one of three specialist teams within the Pharmaceuticals Section, which is in turn part of the Authorisations Division.

Role
You will contribute to the VMD's aims and objectives by leading the team of quality assessors to:
- deliver consistently high standards of assessment of applications
- deliver activities related to the VMD's international activities
- deliver the VMD's regulatory science strategy
- support the delivery of the VMD's International strategy
- develop regulatory and scientific guidelines
- participate in delivery of wider cross VMD business activities
