Start collecting your recyclable items including Christmas wrapping paper over the festive season with Council hosting another Recycling Drop Off on Saturday 8 January 2022.

The Recycling Drop Off, to be held at Council's Works Depot at 5 Millwood Avenue in Narellan from 9am-3pm, gives residents the chance to dispose of their recycling including:

  • Bulky cardboard;
  • Paper;
  • Plastic bottles and containers;
  • Glass bottles;
  • Christmas wrapping paper;
  • Cans; and
  • Polystyrene, which is not collected in yellow-lidded bin, was also available to be dropped off for recycling.

"Council is committed to reducing the impact of waste on the environment and the Recycling Drop Off days are an opportunity for residents to also do the right thing," a Council spokesperson said.

"There are many benefits to recycling including reducing the amount of waste sent to landfill, conserving natural resources, saving energy and preventing pollution."
