The Reef Authority, along with our partners at AIMS and the CSIRO, has released the Reef health Snapshot, which provides a summary of Reef conditions over the past summer.
The snapshot is available through our Reef health web page. The Snapshot includes a map which shows the spatial extent of bleaching of shallow corals. Our ongoing in-water surveys will provide complementary information on intensity of bleaching, mortality and depth range of impacts.
This concludes our weekly Reef health updates for the 2021–2022 summer. We will continue to provide monthly updates on Reef health on our website.
