In 2021/2022, the Cabonne community was asked what really mattered.

More than 1,200 community members participated in workshops, responded to social media questions, and submissions.

These priorities were built into the Cabonne Community Plan which was released in mid-June 2022.

Whilst Council is not responsible for actioning all community aspirations outlined in the Plan, the Plan provides a guide for all Council activities - ensuring that Council and the community remain aligned.

Since 2021/2022 the Cabonne region has endured COVID-19 lockdowns, and a large number of natural disasters. These events have impacted a number of our communities, and impacted Council's delivery as we have supported ongoing flood recovery.

In 2024, Council wants to ensure that the Cabonne Community Plan continues to reflect what the community prioritises.

Over the coming months there will once again be a number of opportunities to engage through surveys, face-to-face meetings, and social media activities.
