- Community services providers are encouraged to register their interest in delivering Engagement Hub homelessness services
- Engagement Hubs deliver on the Cook Government's priority of building safer and more inclusive communities
- Five hubs are currently operating across the Perth metropolitan area
Community service providers are invited to register their interest in delivering Engagement Hubs homelessness support services across the Perth metropolitan area.
The Cook Government is delivering its priority to build safer and more inclusive communities by funding five Engagement Hubs across Perth, Midland, Mandurah and Fremantle.
Engagement Hubs provide safe, welcoming and non-judgemental spaces where people experiencing homelessness can access immediate support and be connected to longer-term pathways, including case management, health, legal, and financial services.
Engagement Hubs play an essential role in the State Government's delivery of All Paths Lead to a Home: Western Australia's 10-Year Strategy on Homelessness 2020-2030.
Organisations can register their interest in delivering these crucial services online before Wednesday, 6 March at 2.30pm AWST.
As stated by Community Services Minister Matthew Swinbourn:
"Engagement Hubs are a key part of how we build safer and more inclusive communities by ensuring people experiencing homelessness can access support with dignity and respect.
"These services provide immediate help while connecting people to the pathways they need to regain stability.
"I encourage community service providers, including Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations, to register their interest and help deliver these vital services."
