Between 1 April and 14 May 2025, police received reports of 26 burglary and stealing incidents from the construction sites.
As a result of inquiries, a search warrant was executed on a premises in Armadale on Wednesday, 14 May 2025. It will be alleged officers seized approximately 500 items stolen from the building sites, with a total estimated value of $50,000.
The 43-year-old was arrested at the premises. It will be alleged, he received multiple stolen property items, linked to the series of burglary offences.
A 43-year-old man from Armadale has been charged with 15 offences:
• 13 x Receiving Stolen Property
• 1 x Possession of Stolen or Unlawfully Obtained Property
• 1 x Possess Prohibited Drug
He is next due to appear before the Armadale Magistrates Court on 9 June 2025.

Acting Detective Senior Sergeant Craig Waters urged members of the public to remain vigilant.
"This type of offending has a widespread and damaging impact on new home owners and the wider community.
"We won't tolerate this kind of behaviour and urge anyone to come forward if they have any information or have seen people behaving suspiciously in these areas."
