Residents Invited To Shape Cranebrook's Future

Penrith City Council is inviting the Cranebrook community to have their say on the Draft Cranebrook Neighbourhood Action Plan, now on public exhibition until 31 March 2026.

The draft plan has been shaped by the voices and lived experiences of residents and community organisations. It captures what has already been achieved and sets out priorities and actions for the year ahead.

Penrith Mayor Todd Carney said the draft plan reflects what people told Council matters most.

"We have spoken with Cranebrook residents extensively over the past few years and have heard that safety, inclusion, cultural celebration and creating opportunities for young people and families is important," Cr Carney said.

"This draft plan turns those conversations into practical steps for Council and partners to take together."

The plan forms part of Council's Neighbourhood Renewal Program, which works directly with residents in older suburbs to improve wellbeing, coordination and access to services.

Residents are invited to view the draft plan online and provide feedback via a short online survey, email or mail. Details can be found at yoursaypenrith.com.au/togethercranebrook.

Council staff will also be out in the community to talk through the draft plan and answer questions in person. This will happen at two local events - a free BBQ at Cranebrook Skate Park, supported by Link Wentworth, and a Clothing Swap at Braddock Public School.
