With a Bachelor of Civil Engineering and a Master of Environmental Engineering Science, Mr McAllister has over 27-years' experience across government, private enterprise, industry, and NGOs; both in Australia and overseas. He has also held numerous statutory board and committee roles across government and professional bodies, including the internationally renowned position of Supervising Scientist from 2013 to 2015.

Mr McAllister has technical expertise in water management (surface and groundwater hydrology), geotechnical engineering and environmental management, and has been involved in devising multidisciplinary solutions to highly complex mining and resources issues.
