Riverfront pop-up café on horizon

Expressions of interest are now open for a pop-up café at the Robinvale Riverfront.

The initiative aims to showcase the riverfront and encourage the community to use this beautiful space.

Swan Hill Rural City Council Councillor Cr Jade Benham said she encouraged interested people to submit an expression of interest before Thursday, 12 December.

"Council is open to exciting new ideas for a pop-up café on Robinvale's riverfront.

"It could be a food opportunity that utilises the Robinvale Community Centre's outdoor space or another suggestion along the riverfront - we are really open to anything.

"We expect the project will create broad economic benefits to the community through increased tourism in the area," Cr Benham said.

Expression of Interest forms and additional information are available from Swan Hill Rural City Council, Splatt Street office and online at www.swanhill.vic.gov.au

The project is funded by Council and the Federal Government, through Our Region, Our Rivers.
