Robber caught before act, South Australia

Great work by a patrol has prevented an alleged aggravated robbery at Hove early this morning.

Just before 1am on Saturday 22 May, a Netley patrol were driving alone Brighton Road when they saw a man standing in the car park of a pizza shop wearing a hooded jumper. As the patrol got closer they noticed he was also wearing and a balaclava. The man also had a toy gun under his jumper. When he was searched a knife was located in his pocket.

The 22-year-old man from Trott Park was arrested and charged with attempted robbery he has been refused police bail and will appear in the Christies Beach Magistrates Court Monday.

The man's car was located nearby and seized by police.
