Robbery with violence, Sunnybank

Police are investigating after a man was assaulted and had his keys and phone stolen in Sunnybank overnight.

A 42-year-old man was in a carpark on Lister Street at 6.50 last night when three men approached him.

They assaulted the man and dragged him from his vehicle before stealig his phone and keys and fled the scene on foot.

The man managed to run to a nearby residence where he was able to contact police.

He was transported to the princess Alexandra Hospital for treament of onjuries to his face, limbs and torso.

Thre three men are all described as Caucasian in appearnce and were all in their 20s.

Investigations are continuing.
