An upcoming event from Rice University's Baker Institute for Public Policy will examine how the key to fighting climate change lies in the developing world.
Rajiv Shah, president of The Rockefeller Foundation, will discuss the foundation's global climate investments March 9. Following his remarks, he will join in conversation with Ken Medlock, senior director of the Baker Institute's Center for Energy Studies, to discuss the opportunities and challenges for renewable energies to meet global demand.

Where: Doré Commons in Rice's Baker Hall. This event is free and will be shared on Zoom, but registration is required.
The event, co-presented by the Baker Institute and The Rockefeller Foundation, is part of the Baker Institute's Director's Lecture Series and will be livestreamed as part of the Rockefeller Foundation's #RFBreakthrough series.
