Roundabout Planned for Kilmore's Sutherland and Green

Developer works to construct a new roundabout at the intersection of Sutherland Street and Green Street in Kilmore will begin on Tuesday 9 June.

The works are being undertaken by Winslow Constructors and will include drainage, pavement, kerb and channel, footpath and landscaping works, as well as the construction of the new roundabout.

These works are required to support the proposed development of 63 new residential lots at 53 and 49 Sutherland Street and will bring a safer intersection treatment at this busy location.

To allow the works to be completed safely, the Sutherland Street and Green Street intersection will be temporarily closed, with signed detours in place.

When?

  • Works are scheduled to begin on Tuesday 9 June and are expected to be completed by Tuesday 21 July, weather permitting.
  • A contingency period has been allowed through to 31 July if additional time is required.
  • Construction hours will be between 7am and 5pm.
