The Hon Bronnie Taylor MLC, Minister for Mental Health, Regional Youth and Women, will deliver the keynote address at the Law Society of NSW's annual Rural Issues Conference at 9am on Friday 23 October 2020.

The online program features a full day of seminars for solicitors in regional and rural NSW.

Leading speakers from across the profession include:

  • Commissioner John McKenzie from the Office of the Legal Services Commissioner in a panel discussion on "Navigating hardship and the impact of recent crises on rural legal practice".
  • Registrar Brett McGrath from the Family Court & Federal Circuit Court of Australia "How family law courts have adapted to COVID-19"
  • Kirsty Ruddock, the Director of Regulatory Investigations and Compliance at the Natural Resources Access Regulator – "Natural Resources Access Regulator: regulatory and licensing powers and approach to compliance".
