Dangerous Driving Charges, Qunaba

Police have charged a man following investigations into a single vehicle traffic crash in Qunaba yesterday evening, 11 September.

A gold Toyota Camry was allegedly sighted driving dangerously around the Bargara area.

It will then be alleged at around 8:45pm, officers were called to Rehbein Avenue, Qunaba following reports the Camry was involved in a single vehicle crash.

The vehicle subsequently caught fire as a result of the crash.

There were no reported physical injuries.

A 21-year-old Park Ridge man has been charged with one count each of dangerous operation of a vehicle, evasion offence at night, drink driving, unaccompanied learner driver and fail to display L plates.

The man was bailed to appear before Bundaberg Magistrates Court on 2 October.
