On behalf of the United States of America, I congratulate the people and government of Saint Kitts and Nevis on the 40th anniversary of your independence.
The United States and Saint Kitts and Nevis enjoy a close relationship founded on respect for democratic values and our shared commitment to combat global challenges. Through the Caribbean Basin Security Initiative, the U.S.- Caribbean Partnership to Address the Climate Crisis (PACC 2030) and other initiatives, we work together to combat the climate crisis, promote regional security, bolster access to clean energy and food security, and encourage economic prosperity for our peoples.
As we celebrate 40 years of our bilateral relations, I look forward to continuing and building on our strong ties in the years to come.
