On 4 and 5 September, ESCWA and the Office of the Prime Minister of the State of Palestine held a workshop on the Integration of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in national planning processes, at the United Nations House in Beirut.
Members of the national team for the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development participated in the workshop and discussed means, mechanisms, and challenges related to integrating the SDGs into the national planning processes for the period spanning between 2024 and 2029.
The workshop is part of the Commission's efforts to reduce the impact of the Israeli occupation on development and the attainment of the SDGs in the occupied Palestinian territory.
