Search continues for man missing in floodwaters at Balranald

A multi-agency search is underway for a man missing in flood waters in the state's west.

About 11.30am on Saturday (26 November 2022), emergency services were called to River Street at Balranald, following reports a man had entered the river.

Officers from Barrier Police District received a report of a missing man – Nungarra Kelly, aged 19 – last seen at that location.

A large-scale search involving police, Marine Rescue, NSW Rural Fire Service, and the NSW State Emergency Service commenced and is continuing today (Tuesday 29 November 2022).
