Water Police are continuing to search for missing fisherman, Trent Riley and hold grave concerns for his safety.
Search efforts will continue throughout the weekend into next week with assistance of volunteer marine rescue organisations, search and rescue helicopters and external agencies.
Water Police appreciate members of the public efforts in conducting their own search for Trent, however request that they don't place themselves in any danger so police can focus their efforts on the continuing search.
Our thoughts are with Trent's family at this difficult time.
The search will resume at first light Saturday.
