"I said at the very beginning of my mandate, in 2019, that I wanted to reinforce co-operation between the Council of Europe and other international organisations in the interest of people in Europe, and the wider world. And I cannot think of a better way to mark the Council of Europe's 75th anniversary than by ensuring that our essential standards in human rights, democracy and the rule of law are applied to the issues that will define our continent's future", stated Secretary General Marija Pejčinović Burić while addressing the OSCE (Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe) Permanent Council in Vienna.
