Mirrabooka Detectives are investigating a serious assault incident that occurred in Woodlands on Saturday, 31 January 2026.
About 1.00am, police received a report from St John WA that a woman had been located with injuries outside an address on Teakwood Avenue.
The 44-year-old victim sustained a serious injury to her abdomen and was conveyed to Royal Perth Hospital for medical treatment of life-threatening injuries.
A 36-year-old male associated with the incident was also assessed by paramedics for injuries to his hands.
Police attended a nearby residence and located and arrested a 30-year-old male. He is currently assisting police with inquiries.
It is believed all parties are known to each other and there is no ongoing risk to the community.
