Serious Crash Prompts Response from WA Police in South Kalgoorlie

Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section are seeking information regarding a serious crash in South Kalgoorlie yesterday, Tuesday 26 September 2023.
About 3.30pm, a Mazda 2 hatch and a Toyota Corolla hatch were being driven north on Wilson Street, when the two vehicles collided with each other near the intersection of Davidson Street. The impact of the crash caused the Toyota Corolla to leave the road and strike a tree.
The 73-year-old male driver of the Toyota Corolla received serious injuries in the crash, and was taken by St John WA to Kalgoorlie Hospital.
The driver of the Mazda 2 was not injured.
