Serious Property Offences Investigation, South Brisbane

Police are investigating and are appealing for information after several properties were broken into and vehicles stolen in Brisbane's south over the past nine days.

Investigations indicate a group of people have stolen up to eight vehicles from homes between 16 December and today, 24 December.

Between midnight and 2am on 16 December, the group were involved in the theft of a black Skoda Kodiaq from an Apex Street, Balmoral address.

The group also gained entry to an address on Phalerum Avenue, Seven Hills, about 2.15am, stole car keys, but did not steal a vehicle.

The group further broke into vehicles at Hawthorne in the early morning of 16 December, before committing a fuel drive off at Darra.

Police believe the group also attempted to gain entry to three homes at Seven Hills and Morningside that same night.

Further enquiries indicate that on the evening of 16 December, the same group stole a blue Porsche Macan station wagon and a grey Audi E-Tron station wagon from an Arbour Street, Sherwood address. The Audi was located later that day at West End.

Around 2.30am, the group stole a blue Volkswagen Polo hatchback from an address on Health Place in Murarrie.

Further, on 20 December around 2am, it's believed the same group is linked to the theft of a grey Hyundai i30 hatchback from an Ara Street, Camp Hill, address.

Initial investigations are ongoing into four homes being broken into at Murarrie, Cannon Hill and Hawthorne in the early hours of 24 December, with a black Mercedes-Benz C300T station wagon stolen from a Katoomba Avenue address during the incidents.

Anyone with information about these property offences or who has seen any of the stolen vehicles is urged to contact police.
