The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating after a man was seriously injured in a traffic crash near Bajool, Queensland Police say.
Officers were called after a ute was discovered this morning at 6.30am off the side of the Bruce Highway between Magazine Road and Oakey Creek Road.
Initial information suggests that the ute left the motorway and went down a culvert and it is believed that it may have been there for a number of hours before being discovered.
A 19-year-old man and sole occupant of the ute was airlifted to the Rockhampton Hospital with life-threatening injuries and is currently in a critical condition.
Investigations are continuing.
