Shepparton police charge man with sex offences

Detectives from Shepparton Sexual Offence and Child Abuse Investigation Team have arrested a man following a series of incidents in Shepparton.

Police received a number of reports from August until October where a man has ridden past victims on a bicycle and allegedly sexually assaulted them.

Reports were also received of a man allegedly exposing himself to women in the vicinity of Verney Road and Balaclava Road.

Police arrested a 22-year-old Shepparton man yesterday and charged him with six counts of sexual assault, six counts of stalking, two counts of sexual exposure and other charges.

He has been bailed to appear at Shepparton Magistrates' Court on 13 January 2020 and the investigation is ongoing.
