Shop, eat and drink local this summer

As the summer weather sets in, Casey has plenty to offer with lots of local outdoor dining opportunities and retail experiences.

Several hospitality venues across the municipality have created unique outdoor spaces to serve our bustling community.

Council has also created temporary pop up dining precincts in Berwick and Narre Warren to support local businesses to work within the COVID-19 safe guidelines.

In High Street Berwick, the new outdoor dining precinct has seen the transformation of a previously underutilised concrete pad, into a functional community space in the heart of the Village.

The custom design aims to reduce Council's carbon footprint while supporting local businesses.

Developed in-house by Council's Landscape Design team, the concept saw the use of recycled materials, converting a discarded concrete waste product into dining tables and seats.

The space attracted much curiosity and interest during its construction and upon its completion the community have embraced the opportunity for outdoor dining in the popular 'foodie' district.

Other temporary pop-up dining precincts can be found in Kempson Walk Berwick and Webb Street Narre Warren.

Whether you are looking for a coffee, a new hair cut or the perfect gift for someone special - Casey will have you covered with plenty of unique hospitality venues and retail experiences to discover. We invite our community to Eat, Drink, Shop and Play in Casey this summer!

Council is continuing to work with local businesses to identify other opportunities that will support the business community and meet the needs of our residents.
