Discover Mitchell is giving residents and visitors another great reason to shop local in Seymour, with a free adult ticket to Tastes of the Goulburn available for anyone who spends $250 at eligible Seymour businesses during the promotional period. Shoppers can explore the full range of participating stores in Council's Eat Shop Stay guide, then bring their receipts to the Seymour Visitor Information Centre to claim their ticket.
Tastes of the Goulburn returns in April 2026 after a standout 2025 event, bringing its signature mix of food, wine and fun back to Seymour's picturesque, heritage‑lined Station Street. Visitors can enjoy live music, chef demonstrations, tastings, regional produce, food trucks, stalls and kids' activities-an ideal day out during the Easter school holidays. As Victoria's oldest continuously producing wine region, the Goulburn Valley offers far more than great wine, with farm‑fresh produce, local artists, beer, cider, spirits and plenty more to discover.
Each household can receive up to four adult tickets, valued at $40 each, and all tickets must be claimed in person. The promotion will run until 3.30 pm on Friday 10 April 2026, unless tickets are exhausted earlier. Full terms and conditions are available online.
Tastee Tickets is delivered by the Discover Mitchell team, led by Council's Economic Development Unit. The program is designed to support local businesses, encourage repeat visitation and strengthen the Seymour economy by rewarding people for choosing to shop locally.
