Should we have community artwork in our laneways?

Artwork that represents indigenous culture, our beaches, mountains and our sense of community are among the ideas for making our laneways more inviting.

Kempsey Shire Council has been asking for community feedback as part of the Kempsey Laneways Revitalisation Project.

Residents have one more week to comment on how Council can improve the vibrancy and safety of two of our laneways – Elringtons (beside Kempsey Central) and Savages Lane.

So far, Council has received 28 submissions, but we would still like to hear from more of the community.

You can submit your feedback by going to Council's engagement website, Your Say Macleay

The survey is open until 4pm 30 August.
