There have been two new cases of COVID-19 today, both reported from a medi-hotel. There has been a total of 825 cases notified in South Australia.
Today's cases are a man in his 40s and a woman in her 20s, who acquired their infection overseas and have been in a medi-hotel since their arrival.
Given the increasing number of cases interstate, we are moving to implement increased restrictions in SA, which are expected to come into effect from midnight tonight. More details will be available at www.covid-19.sa.gov.au once the direction is finalised.
A number of exposure sites continue to be identified across the country. To check if you have visited any of the locations of concern, visit www.sahealth.sa.gov.au/COVIDcontacttracing. Information on travel restrictions and the latest Cross Border Direction are available at www.covid-19.sa.gov.au.
